Moreen’s journey into music didn’t follow a straight line. It started with a decision. Originally from Windsor, Ontario, she had been performing for years at events, and stages across Windsor and Detroit, building her voice through real experience and live performance. But everything shifted the moment she chose to take a leap. With only a part-time job secured a week before, she told her parents, “I’m moving to Toronto tomorrow,” packed up her life, and left within the weekend to start over from scratch.

In Toronto, Moreen built her life from the ground up. She started bartending for cash, learning the city from behind the bar while quietly working toward something bigger. What began as survival turned into opportunity, bartending opened doors into the events world, where she began making connections, gaining access to new spaces, and slowly carving out her place. Step by step, she moved closer to the downtown core, building both her independence and her vision. Everything unfolded the way it was meant to, leading her exactly where she needed to be.

By 2026, Moreen made the decision to fully invest in herself as an artist, a singer. In just half a year, she performed seven shows while building her portfolio and independently booking gigs, stepping into her identity with clarity and purpose. Now rooted in R&B and neo-soul, her music is inspired by real experiences, love, and raw emotion. Her sound lives in the in-between, where vulnerability meets strength, and where honesty is more important than perfection. Through every performance and every song, Moreen creates space for people to feel deeply, connect fully, and see themselves reflected in the stories she tells.
